Listen, sweet friend. Some days are so hard, with babies needing you and a to-do list that never ends. I wanted to give you some inspiration on those hard days. Hoping this is just the encouragement in motherhood you’re needing!
I blogged out my ABC’s of grace for ya; if you know a mama that needs this, I pray you’ll share it with her. After all, we’re all in this together.
How to Give Yourself Grace
Ask for help.
Be kind to yourself.
Count your blessings.
Decide to say “no” when it’s needed.
Everyone has hard days.
Forgive yourself easily.
Gratitude over everything.
Hold onto what you’ve accomplished, (not your to-do list).
Just let go.
Kiss your babies.
Love on yourself a little more.
Mindset matters, so fill your cup first.
Ok, maybe two naps.
Pursue what gives you true joy.
Question: ask yourself if you need a break.
Rest in Jesus.
Sit with your emotions. It’s okay to feel all the feels.
Tune into your body and see what it needs.
Understand you’re only human.
Village. It takes one. Create one if you don’t have your own yet. You can always join mine, too.
Water. Drink it!
Xylophone. Literally the only word that starts with X, and I bet it made you smile.
Zzzzz. Go catch some! If you have a sleepless baby, call your village to watch them while you rest.
What encouraged you most?
Drop a comment below and tell me which letters you’re claiming right now! Your struggles don’t make you weak, they make you human.
