Thoughts of my babies growing up have been crashin

Thoughts of my babies growing up have been crashing around in my head lately. And I’m terrified I will be so obsessed with the thought that they’re getting bigger that I’ll miss the right now. You know, the good stuff.

That I’ll wake up one day from this cloud of fear and I won’t have to cut their food up anymore. That I won’t have to help someone use the potty with a baby on my hip. That I won’t have to fold 3T size clothing and cloth diapers and sheets I’ve washed for the third time this week.

The enemy is not creative. He brings up these patterns to distract us from our ministry in motherhood. Get behind me devil 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Search me, O God and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Psalm 139:23-24

My prayer for you, sweet friend, is that you will just fully live in these blissfully tiring days without the fear of your babies growing.

Yes, they will grow- physically, emotionally, and my other prayer…that they’ll grow to know Jesus. That my mama heart will grow along side them so I can fully surrender in all things ✨

What would you go back and tell yourself as a chil

What would you go back and tell yourself as a child? My highlights would be:

✨playing baby dolls pays off because we’ll have a beautiful family full of wild boys and a tiny girl with three baby teeth

✨baby laughs are the sweetest sound on earth so get ready

✨anything we do between now and then is healed and doesn’t mean we can’t be holy in God’s eyes because of our mistakes

Thank you Father for ancient paths that connect us back to you. That your plans are always better 🙌🏼 for constantly revealing the heart issue and doing a new work in my soul.

Our brokenness doesn’t change the goodness of God. Counting my blessings and praying you see yours despite your past as we move into this season of thankfulness 🥲
