When I tell people I bought my first house – sans a man – at the ripe age of 22, I get a lot of these:
And I’m all:
Just kidding. In actuality, it was kind of hard. But not impossible. It can be done and I’m proof. I’m not a die-hard budgeter, but the frugality bug did hit me pretty hard. (Probably because I have this irrational fear of not being able to afford my high-maintenance healthy foods. I WILL NOT eat Ramen and I WILL NOT buy bigger pants. I refuse.)
Anyways. The fact that I had a job since I could drive and did whatever I could NOT to spend my money definitely did help me in the long run; I had a reasonable amount of money saved up for a down-payment, and my awesome parents helped me build credit at an early age with a credit card.
These things all contributed to my successful purchase.
Is this your story? Are you also a self-proclaimed Frugal Fern? Because that’s great! But if you aren’t, that’s great too! You know why? Because I met a guy. His name is Neal. Neal Davis.
Neal Davis is THE MAN for first-time homebuyers. Regardless of what your story is, I have confidence that Mr. Davis can help you.
As both a Realtor(R) and “Millennial”, I see a lot of people in my age bracket who think their only options are to
A) Live in their parent’s basement for the rest of eternity
B) Spend their entire paycheck on one month’s rent
Well kids, Neal and I are here to tell you really can have that American dream of owning your own home without being what I like to call “house poor” (living from paycheck to paycheck because all of your money goes to a mortgage).
I encourage you to think about coming to an event that Mr. Davis and I are hosting at the FABULOUS, BEAUTIFUL RE/MAX Advantage office in downtown Brenham. We will be booking hour-long appointments for you to meet with Mr. Davis and get a run-down of each person’s individual situation. Did you hear that? Each person’s INDIVIDUAL SITUATION.
He will be able to help you out much more and give you tons more information about your credit report than if you were to simply pull a free one online. Want to know a fun fact I learned from Mr. Davis? As great as those free reports are, a Mortgage Officer will need a different, more detailed report. If you decide to come to our event, he will be able to do that for you.
What. A. Deal.
After you talk with Mr. Davis, I will be here to show you what properties are in the area that you CAN afford! It’s almost surreal to think that you can actually buy a house, but it’s really not that far-fetched. Give your new pal Mr. Davis and me a shot – come visit us on January 21 and let us help you live out the American dream of being a homeowner! And you can be all:
Give me a call today at (979) 203-0418 to schedule your appointment for January 21, or feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you then!
